neXos is determined to become a leading Australian provider of location based services and solutions. These services and solutions are designed to accurately locate and position assets and people in multiple environments and automate their management across a variety of industries. By providing on demand information on the use and whereabouts of various mobile resources, customers can achieve significant cost savings by increasing the productivity of their people, vehicles and other remote assets.

neXos is currently developing its presence in this fast emerging Australian market by forming alliances with selected vendors in mobile resource management, location based services and related technologies.

Partnership with @Road

One of neXos’s most recent relationships in this field is with @Road, a global provider of mobile resource management solutions. Offered as a hosted service, @Road GeoManager is designed to help businesses improve customer service through GPS-based technology, as well as wireless communications, messaging and automated workflow. neXos’s agreement with @Road covers the provisioning, installation, hardware and software support and maintenance services to Telstra.

In September 2006 Telstra Australia committed to purchase around 7,000 @Road iLM® 3100 series in-vehicle mobile devices. Using its extensive network of installers all over Australia, neXos has successfully completed the roll-out of this major project over a period of approximately six months.

In October 2006 @Road announced that Telstra had signed a further agreement to resell the @Road® GeoManager(SM) solution to its own customer base throughout Australia.

@Road’s flagship GeoManager MRM solution for field force management is designed to give businesses the ability to optimize the management of their assets in the field for achieving improvements in customer service and higher levels of customer satisfaction and retention. @Road GeoManager is already a leading field force management solution in the U.S. and Asia Pacific with more than 150,000 subscribers.
